Elon Musk replaces the iconic Twitter bird logo with a dog icon; here's why

Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently changed his Twitter profile picture from the iconic bird logo to an image of a Shiba Inu dog. The move is not entirely unexpected, given Musk's past support for the cryptocurrency Dogecoin, which features the same breed of dog as its mascot.

Musk's affinity for Dogecoin has been well documented on social media, and he has even referred to himself as the "Dogefather" in the past. His tweets about the cryptocurrency have also caused significant fluctuations in its value.

While the change in Musk's profile picture may seem trivial, it has actually caused a stir among his followers, many of whom are speculating that it may be a sign of his continued support for Dogecoin. The move comes ahead of Dogecoin's upcoming appearance on the popular TV show Saturday Night Live, where Musk is set to host on May 8.

Musk's embrace of cryptocurrency has been a subject of much debate, with some questioning whether his tweets and public statements about various cryptocurrencies are ethical, given their potential to influence the market. However, Musk has remained undeterred, and his support for Dogecoin and other cryptocurrencies seems unlikely to wane anytime soon.
